About Town
Brahmapuri town is located in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. It is 128 Kms from Chandrapur, 100 Kms from Gondia and about 120 Km from Nagpur on Nagpur-Gadchiroli Highway No. 269. Brahmapuri is famous for its education, medical facilities and eco-friendly atmosphere. Most of the adjoining areas around Bramhapuri is backward in education and belongs to economically weaker section. It is worthy to mention that Brahapuri serves for the nearby villagers as educational hub. It is surrounded with natural beauty and historical places namely Pauni, Wairagad, Chandrapur, Markhanda etc. Adjoining to Bramhapuri, there are National Parks i.e. Nawegaon Bandh, Nagzira, Tadoba,Ghodazari and National Indira Sagar Project Gosekhurd and Itiadoh Damp. It is also connected by Road and Railways. It is surrounded by Waingangā River in both East and North side.
